Anyone for tennis?
Just 10 minutes walk from Villa Albatros is one of the most important and prestigious outdoor tennis centres in Europe with a total of 28 tennis courts available to use. The Tennis Centre offers a wide selection of training programmes, summer camps and elite academies that suit players of all levels and ages, all year round.
Or, if your abilities are, let’s say, a little underwhelming, you can just hire a court and have a casual knock about. No one’s going to judge you!
Hiking and biking
The countryside around La Manga Club has some stunning and wild scenery. Perfect for strolls, serious walks or full-on hikes. The hills, mountains and cliffs are also awesome for mountain biking, with routes through the Calblanque Natural Park, The Cenizas Mount or the Sierra Minera mountain range.
Cycling specialist Biking La Manga are located in the resort and can help with everything you need from mountain or road bike rentals to a professional repair service.
Yoga & Pilates
We’ve teamed up with the amazing and inspirational Paula Denvir to be able to offer bespoke wellness breaks. Yoga, Pilates, hiking, meditation and vegan nutrition plans all in the cleanest air and the brightest sunshine. We are happy to chat to you about crafting the perfect wellness break or just help you organise some private classes with Paula.

Three amazing golf courses.
If there is one sport that distinguishes La Manga Club as one of the best sports resorts in the world, it would have to be golf.
The resort is home to three 18-hole golf courses and each course with palm trees, lakes, pine forests and ravines is suitable for a different level of player.
Just don’t try the West course unless your aim is true or you have an unlimited supply of balls!
Beautiful beaches
There are so many beaches to choose from!
The bustling cosmopolitan beaches on the Mar Menor offer loads of opportunities for watery activities such as windsurfing, paddle-boarding and waterskiing.
There are vast empty stretches of sand in the protected Parque Regional de Calblanque as well as hidden secluded coves that can only be reached on foot (Ssshhh! Don’t tell anyone - it’ll be our little secret!)

Just a short walk from Villa Albatros, The Beauty Chambers is a friendly, professional, holistic beauty salon, providing five star treatments to pamper yourself with during your stay.
All treatments are performed using sterile equipment and high quality products, Medik8, Eve Taylor, Le Pure and Jessica.
Beauty Chambers is popular especially in high season, we recommend booking your treatments in advance.
Kids sports academies.
La Manga is the perfect resort for families - there really is something for everyone.
The children's academies for golf, tennis, football, cricket, rugby and triathlon run through the summer holidays, as well as the informal but wonderfully run Football “World Cup” that takes place every evening for kids of all ages to turn up and join in.
Down on the beach, you can book up scuba-diving, water-skiing, windsurfing or paddle-boarding!
Eating out
La Manga Resort has so many options for eating out. Many of the resort’s restaurants , cafes and bars are within walking distance of the villa.
A short drive or taxi will take you to some fabulous beach front restaurants. El Parador on the Mar Menor, La Cala which sits overlooking the resort’s private cove or Bocana de Palos in the fishing port of Cabo de Palos are some of our favourites!
Shopping in La Manga
If your idea of holiday heaven is a long lazy lunch or an evening BBQ on your villa terrace, then La Manga makes like easy for you! There is a supermarket on the resort itself and a short drive to all the usual larger supermarket brands. A trip out on Sunday morning to the chaotic but brilliant street market at Cabo de Palos is a great thing to do and historic Cartegena is only 20 mins away for authentic Spanish streets and grand plazas. Oh and of course fabulous Zara and Massimo Dutti stores !
